Very mediocre. This is not a “prime” dining experience. Very limited menu. Sides are served in small cups, and a shame because they were the best part of the meal. Zero presentation. Wonderful club-like atmosphere. Net net, no compelling reason to return.

The best ambience in Aiken. From the lobby bar with seats next to the fireplaces to the main dining room, The Wilcox offers big city food with a small town, luxury hotel feel.

Get there before 5 PM and you'll be able to find a table or couch in the historic front parlor. It gets very busy after 5pm so either make a reservation for the patio or a table in the front, it's first come first serve usually for one of the couches, which is the best way to check all the comings and goings. Hummus plate is very good. Although we've noticed the servings on the dishes have become smaller it's still a wonderful place to go for an elevated happy hour or unique dinner sitting. I've seen very casual... straight from the barn to summer dresses And jackets.
