Unfortunately not at the moment, we've had some of Mabry's titles before though.
No, anytime during store hours should be fine. If you're bringing in 4 boxes or more it'd be best to come at least 30 minutes before closing.
If they're from the Civil War or earlier we might be interested. Unfortunately I'm not aware of a dealer or collector you should contact.
I don't know of a shop that readily buys them in South Carolina. A lot of the old yearbook market seems to now be online but you can also find them at antique malls and local auctions. We're not looking to purchase any.
We don't currently have anything specific to massage in stock at the moment. We do see them from time to time throughout the year but they do sell.
Sure, just bring them by during store hours. If it's several boxes worth you can park in our paved lot and we have a hand truck to unload them.
A "True First" is a First Printing of the First Edition. Afterwards, for example, you may see a Third Printing of the First Edition or maybe a First Printing of the Second Edition. Though both of those are in some ways "Firsts" they're not "True Firsts". Not all publishers use the same format to designate First Editions/First Printings. Generally if someone says a book is a First Edition or First Printing they're talking about the same thing. Hope this helps!
West Columbia has a face mask ordinance in place until May 2021 which we follow. We ask that people remember to give space to others. Doorknobs, countertops and such are cleaned on a regular basis. Hand sanitizer and masks are available as well.
We do currently have an old 1874 copy of Our Mutual Friend and a newer leather bound edition as well. Unfortunately no Great Gatsby or Wuthering Heights in leather at the moment. We're always bringing in books so if you're still searching in 2 weeks check back with us to see if anything has arrived.
It all depends on the condition. You'd have to bring them by for us to have a look.
I would just recommend calling and seeing if they have that book available. You could also try the public library
We don't do binding work. We use Miller's Bookbinding in Lexington. They've always done good and timely work for us.
Barbara, Unfortunately we've sold out of Dorothea Benton Frank's books at the moment. Hopefully we'll have more soon. Have a good week, Ed's Editions Bookstore ABAA/ILAB, ABA
Tammy, unfortunately we don't currently have that in stock. Thanks for keeping us in mind!
Thanks for the request. Unfortunately we don't currently have that title in stock. Have a good week!
At the moment we have First Edition hardback's for #'s 3, 5, 6 and 7.
