Overall the staff was friendly. However, the lady who was assigned to help with my fraud issue, though friendly, should improve her communications skill. She is rather poor at listening and appears to only listen to respond in a scripted manner. This issue resulted in numerous re-explaination of the initial question. She also showed visible frustration with her "slow" computer and at times cannot be bothered by any questions while she was operating her computer. Most of which arose in the first place due to her lacking listening skills. Although friendly, and experienced in her line of work, I hope they take this constructive criticism to further improve their performance in the future. Best wishes!

they're closed they won't help you even though there's some people inside I knocked on the door for a half hour they came out for lunch to their car I beg for help they didn't do anything the IRS sucksI just wanted to know why they didn't recognize my social security number and why I have not gotten my stimulus check
Post office
U can't. At least I could not. I had to go down to the Stockton office ( upstairs , cause both arnt always open) and make an appt to come back. They will try and hand u a paper and have you call. Just let them know u have and can't. Usually they will make u an appt to come back.
You'll probably have to make a appointment to go in, so you have to call the appointment line. And mind you, they are some very rude people. No patience, to listen to your concerns.
I think u have to make an appointment.
I went there appointments only is posted. Which they'll call you first before appointment to try to help over phone.
Jose Rojas some taxpayer assistance centers are just starting to open however, it's all by appointment right now and not all offices are open. Definitely give them a call.
You need a birt birth certificate an any ID tha mach you name .go to the tax servise or the IRS an fill a form and you send
You need an appointment for everything
The IRS won't call you, they'll usually send a letter in the mail. If you have any questions about your account, I would visit them directly. What you're dealing with is likely a scam.
That depends on where you did them and how you did them did you mail it in or did you do it online for an e-file. If you mailed it in it could take months if you did it online maybe 3 to 4 weeks
I had to mail them.
can a parent use a child as a tax write off even though the child is filing too?
