Wife and I go walking on these trails about every other weekend. Trails are clearly marked, it's a beautiful location.

One of our favorite disc golf courses in the CSRA. May be a bit challenging for beginners, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Criminally underused park. I love this place and have been going at least weekly lately. I mostly use the singletrack mountain bike trail, but this place has so much more: disc golf, fishing, softball/baseball, playground, kayaking, hiking, soccer, an observatory, and likely others I'm forgetting. I've been going to this park for 15 years now, and have many happy memories of past visits with friends and dogs. Especially on weekdays, many times one will be sharing this park with just two or three other people. Aiken is fortunate to have this place, and I hope more people will adventure out and discover it.

Playground looks fairly nice. The pond itself is fairly overgrown and almost impossible to fish from the shore. A kayak would be useful, but be sure to watch out for the garbage and piles of human feces in the parking lot.

It is free to enter during the times they are open. They close at dark. It is free to fish there but of course you have to have a valid fishing license. You can fish from the shore or bring a boat but if you bring a boat you cannot have a gas engine on it. They don't have a lot of fish in there but you can still catch them. The types of fish they have are bass, cat fish, and brim.
Open everyday 8 to 5 pm.
Yes, there are alligators in every pond in SC. If your dog is big and you don't see anything in the water it may be ok. There are Beavers and Otters in this pond. A much better food for Mr Alligator.
Don't know, but the rangers office is worth checking into
As far as I am aware
I went through the park entrance and did not see a gate. The park office is on the right before you get to the entrance on the left. I have only been there a couple of times for birthday parties.
Yes
I haven't seen any there.
A small one
There is access from silver bluff road and also storm branch road
Yep, there's fish in there. Choose your bait for the fish you want.
Yes
Yes, at the picnic area.
Yes
Yes the sign does say signup to sum down. We always leave before dusk for the sake of the wildlife and to make it easy for the law to patrol. There is no overnight camping but it is a most beautiful place.
