Very nice, we stayed in the large 9 br farm house, the home was clean, very comfortable, quiet and just a little rustic, but a great vaca home for the family reunion or friends weekend on the farm. The internet signal was pretty good, but our Verizon phones were lacking in service. One of our family members worked virtually for a little while, and had no problems. The goats, chickens, cats & dogs were very entertaining. The caramels are outstanding. The first week of June the weather was perfect. We had a blast, we would definitely do it again.

I saw a program about this farm on local PBS station and really wanted to try their caramel candies. I just received their caramels in the mail. First, I thought they were a bit expensive. Almost $1 per candy but my goodness… they are so decadent. It’s like eating a piece of luxurious heavenly sweet goodness. The description that the owners have of these caramels is spot on. Tender, delicate, decadent, not overwhelmingly sweet with a hint of described flavors. Totally worth it and I wouldn’t share it with anyone! They are too good!

Never been to the farm but lucky enough to order their caramels more than once. Insanely delicious, those must be some happy goats!

Questions & Answers

Are all of your products made with just goats milk I have a son in law allergic to all cow products and want to be sure they are safe for him. Thank you Elizabeth Buckler

Hi Elizabeth! We do not recommend our products to folks with dairy/cow allergies, as there is a small amount of cow’s cream in the caramels. Those who are lactose intolerant may be fine, though, in terms of digestibility, due to the significance of goat milk and the minimal amount of cow. All of our ingredients can be found on our website here: https://bigpicturefarm.com/pages/ingredients Thank you for supporting our small farm. Yours in goats, Lucas

Are you having your Goat Hang Out event again this year? George and I would love to stop by and see Nick the skier from Aspen turned a goat herder. So happy for you.
