I have been using Diamond Lumber since 2006. I even went to High School with one of the employees and im 53 now.. I am a General Contractor and a Home Inspector. I do not believe the bad reviews im reading about Diamond. I worked on Victorians in the Bay Area until 2005 and it wasnt always easy finding mouldings and baseboards from that period. I was working on a Victorian in Grass Valley in 2021 and Diamond was able to get me an exact match when my contacts werent able to. They are more of a commercial store and dont have as wide of selection as Home Depot and there is no garden section, its more of a builders store than a store for the average person.

Class 'A' operation. Super friendly staff, incredibly helpful and kind. Went the extra mile in replacing a damaged board - making the extra effort to drive the 30 minutes again to deliver what I needed. I certainly look forward to doing more business with them!

Worst customer service of any local hardware store. They have good selection of certain specialty items, but I would rather drive down the hill than support their business.
