I drove an hour to try and sell some American eagle shorts and pants with a few shirts and a pair of shoes which had only been wore twice they ripped the bag to make it look like it had been looked through but none of the clothes were moved around at all. Which indicates they didn't go through them and then told me they weren't able to take anything. Don't waste your time like I did.

Essence

Plato’s closet is a joke. When taking your clothes to sell, they take the most random items. I went today to sale things and they barely took anything. I was selling a set in my box.. they took the pants but not the matching top. What sense does that make? I had items like old navy, pacsun, Ralph Lauren & they took none of it. That makes me wonder what is the criteria they take clothes based on??? For the stuff they did take they only gave me $19.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I brought clothes up here, even spent money inside the store, just to have to wait 3 hours which I was never told of a wait. Two big bags of clothes that were like new and some things I have I found on their racks, they didn’t buy a single thing and didn’t really give a reason. This makes the 3rd time. I will be going to uptown from the now on bc they also give you the option to donate the items they don’t buy and their prices are better. Plato’s is a waste of ANYONES time. You can also tell where they didn’t even go through my items as well
