I went over the weekend and the dining room was closed. Ordered my food to go and it was sub par. Everyone told me the food was delicious but I have had better. The restaurant was recommended to me as a great place to eat. The cabbage wasn’t tasty, the fish I ordered was good and the potato salad was okay. The manager Keisha was not friendly but the cashier Jermaine was fabulous. He was very helpful and smiled through the whole transaction. I wouldn’t go back again and have taken this as a learning experience.

We went to the sit down location but didn't want to wait in line for a party of 7. We went to their order/pick up location. When I tell you it's definitely worth it! OMG! Everything and I mean everything was good. Someone put their foot in this food and is Blessed with their ancestors natural ability to cook! Dayum!!! We were in town for an AAU basketball tournament and a friend recommended we try this place. Everyone enjoyed their food. Everything was cooked just right! We'll definitely be going back!

Me and my wife visit Atlantic City at least once a year. When we do, we try to check out some of the local restaurants to add to our list of favorites. Kelsey and Kim's Southern Café shot to the top of the list this year. I am a chef by trade and southern soul food is one of my specialties. Kelsey and Kim have one of the best Macaroni and Cheese recipes I have ever tasted outside of my own kitchen. I had that Mac-n-Cheese and cabbage along with my pork ribs and my wife had a pulled pork sandwich with candied yams and collard greens. Every single Item was 5-star, and the value was absolutely there based on the portions, even with the 50 dollar price tag. We added two desserts for 10 more bucks and they basically gave us two half cakes...both delicious. The portions were so big we ate the rest for lunch the next day. We felt the value was so great we returned the next night. The second night we tried the catfish nuggets as an appetizer and they were absolutely fantastic...they serve them with this excellent house dipping sauce. My wife had the pork chop and waffles this time around I I had the smothered pork chops with broccoli and more of that Mac-n-Cheese. Once again everything was 5-star and we couldn't come near finishing it all until the next day. Kelsey and Kim's is officially our favorite Atlantic City restaurant and we will be returning whenever we visit.

Don't let the picture fool you. This place has fallen off from the last time I ate here about a year ago. I ordered catfish and shrimp combo with sides Mac and cheese, collard greens and candied yams . …

There is only take-out. Only two persons inside to order food at one time.
I don't know, but we ate there 3 days in a row while on vacation. Crab cakes off the chart best I ever had!
Yes, they do but you should call them for specific dates.
They do have outdoor dining however its dependant on the weather as well as first come first serve. No advance reservations.
Different hours for different days
This site is for customers review however i do remember them telling me friday and weekends they do have live music and karaoke
Prices are affordable (standard diner prices) and food is great!
Kelsey &Kim's have wonderful food!!! I wish they could open a restaurant in South Carolina 😘
Best to call them since holiday hours vary from business to business
No,but they are busy & waiting times varies.....worth it regardless in my opinion

The parking for Kelsey and Kim's on the corner of New Hampshire and Melrose Aves. is on the street, but there is always parking available within easy walking distance.
There are two location. One near by that place live music and these other by a elderly community. Both location great food. Look them up great place to visit.
Visit the website or just show up. Its worth it. Calling is not the best option.
It doesn't matter which one u catch they all go past there.
I don't know. They have a website that list events. However bands are not at the Southern cafe on Melrose. The live performance is at Kelsey's on Pacific Ave.
The usual, Pancakes, French toast, Eggs, breakfast meat, Fish, Chicken & waffles and the best grits I've taste.
Yeah sometime they do run out of grits and fish it depends what's on the menu
Just visited A.C. and decided to stop in at Kelsey & Kim's to check out their southern soul food. Didn't need a reservation just walked in and we were seated right away. Every dish was excellent. Highly recommend it.
It's how most people eat. They are a business, they going to do what makes money. Unfortunately.
They're open till 10pm, just Google Kelsey and Kim's rest in AC
Yes, the Jitney makes a stop close to the restaurant.
There's two locations... The Cafe & the main restaurant that's on Pacific Avenue... it stays open longer along with live entertainment on the weekends.
You'll need to call the restaurant and make a reservation. Their other location (Kelsey's) is on Atlantic Ave. Try there too. Both locations are good but not large seating areas. The Atlantic Ave location has the larger seating area
They call their pigfeet trotters.
