This is a great option if you are low maintenance on your hair care and aren't looking to spend a fortune! Keep in mind that I have straight, virgin hair that doesn't have a ton of texture and I rarely use heat on it, so I have to imagine my cut services aren't super complicated. If you're looking for a higher level of care, might not be the place for you! But I got about 5 inches cut off and the student did a great job, and then the instructor came over and polished it at the end to make sure it was straight and everything. I think it was about $18. I loved the cut, especially for the price, and am coming back again!

While, my instructors were good during my time there, it simply is NOT worth the money. I had to take out a hefty loan to pay for my schooling there and years later I am STILL paying it back. You can receive the same education (in some cases better) for A LOT less money. I thought the prestigious name would help elevate my resume’ it did nothing. Most employers only care that you are licensed.

My hair was not done well. And I actually had 2 hair stylists. I have ethnic hair. It takes heat to straighten it from a hair dryer and a flat iron but the students still did not want to apply "too much" heat. They did not want to use a flat iron and my hair definitely showed this. I also asked if they were trained on how to do ALL types of hair and they said no. I should have known better.

If you don’t want to be stressed and have trauma from the experience don’t bother! 11k to cry everyday and work in sweat shop conditions. A whole year later I still can’t sleep at night. I was forced to stay at school when it was 90+ degrees in the building and I have serious health conditions I was told if I left I would have to pay to start all over. The list goes on RUN NOW! No I can’t reach out to you’ll, I reached out when I was in school and I was disrespected and dismissed every time.
