The food was great the service was great but when you have higher prices and less quantity of food that bothers me it cost me $50 for squad and steak tips we got about 3 oz of steak tips and I maybe got 4 oz of squad and a bunch of mashed potatoes if you're going to charge the prices give the portions the portions were less than they used to be and you're charging more money.

So how to rate this place... Food: wife and I had the fish and chips. It came with 1 big piece of cod, steak fries and slaw. The fish was really good. Very tasty and flaky but not over cooked. Breading was a bit greasy on the bottom where it sat on the plate. Would be better if they made it 2 pieces instead of 1. Slaw was blah but I've actually had worse. Fries were good. Son had a burger with curly fries and said it was very good. Drinks: Yuck. Iced tea was instant not brewed. Service: very nice waitress we had a nice talk and she shared some local barber shops and other things we are in need of before dropping our boy at Mount. Overall, pretty darn good. And we didn't even get desert. It was very loud in there and the country music was a bit much. But hey I don't spend my day in there so I only had to listen for a little bit.

First off we hadn't been for lunch in a while. It wasn't busy so we figured quick lunch. I ordered clam cakes and chowder she ordered roast beef sandwich with fries. People that arrived after us were getting their entrees before us. Ok, so we waited...43 minutes later. I was thrown mine and we were never asked if we needed anything else. Then we started to eat and everything was cold. By this time we were famished, we just ate it, it was good tried to leave but after we had said something the Manager was walking over and we just needed to leave. 2stars updated: I ordered takeout lunch, clam cakes and New England Chowda, potatoes were undercooked but I was early other than that it was delicious. updated to 4 stars

The fish and chips are delicious. They're a special on Wednesday and Friday.

Same as any other open restaurant. Masks when you walk to the bathroom and not when you eat. The staff has them on the whole time.

Very friendly place. No problems with managers or staff. Some diners have bad days I guess
Chello's has the best clamcakes! They are fried though, so like another guide said, probably more calories than you want to know about. These always arrive at our table so hot that we have to break them open and wait for them to cool enough to bite into- every single time- and I've been going there for many years. I have never gotten cold food there like another guide said he did. This is one of my favorite places to go.
