Crowed and busy almost always. A real cross sampling of Peekskill's people, pastimes and pleasures. Everyone goes here and does THEIR thing AND it works, peacefully. The shear numbers and variety of people being freer than they are in other settings is sometimes intimidating to some: it's all sorts of folks, doing all sorts of things, but it's authentic, visceral and reaI: I love it.

No, if you are visiting the park there is free parking on the right side if the park. The metered parking is for the train station.
Yes dogs are allowed. The Riverfront Green (where it's held) is a city park that people bring dogs to all the time.
