The first time I came to CoCo Nails, I called for a same day pedicure appointment. I loved how clean the salon was and the technicians were still using safety protocols for COVID-19. They gave me a “menu” of options for my pedicure and I upgraded to one of the spa pedicures. To my surprise, the pedicure lasted about 20-25 minutes which isn’t typical at other salons. As a mom who doesn’t get out alone often, I was expecting a more relaxing experience but left feeling like the service was incredibly rushed. I tried again today, and got the same technician. This time, I made an appointment in advance and was hoping for a better experience. When I came in, there was no one to greet me and a bunch of technicians just looked up and waited for me to speak. I advised I had an appointment and then picked my color and sat down and waited. Eventually, someone came over and escorted me to my pedicure chair. I started a timer on my phone the moment the technician started and requested the same pedicure as last time and it lasted exactly 30 minutes - pretty much to the second. The nail/cuticle cutting and shaping took less than 3 minutes which is unusual for me because I am prone to ingrown toenails. I just left truly disappointed. I also am not a fan that they strongly push using Venmo as the payment method. While I think it’s great to offer it, it should be a choice. If you want an express pedicure, it’s a great place. If you’re looking for a more relaxed experience, look elsewhere. Giving 4 stars because it’s conveniently located, clean and my nails do look good, but lacks in the overall experience.
