I usually do not like to say "now is the time to act" but if you want to or need to sell I would certainly do so sooner than later. Interest rates are on the rise couple that with the sharp increase in home values it's only a matter of time before our Rhode Island Market cools off. I am already seeing an increase in price adjustments lowing the asking price by $5000-$19000. As affordability becomes more of an issue supply and demand will start to level off.
The good news I do not charge buyers for my services, my commission is paid at the closing. The listing agent offers a part of their commission that is paid by the seller.
I have personally been a Realtor now for 11 years, last 10 full time. Before real estate I was a corporate chef working in Boston. Wanted to pursue new ventures. More importantly to start a family! The restaurant life with long hours would have been tough to do this.
