Aware Recovery in home detox was good considering the alternative but didn't accept my insurance so I paid out of pocket. Very expensive and I don't understand what it covered. I tool care of myself. They just gave me meds whenthey visited one/day. The "aftercare" has been non-existent. Extemely unorganized and unprofessional. They clearly have a lot to work through before expanding. It has been so bad that I will actually pay a lawyer to get the money I paid in advance for the aftercare back. I will be making sure this is reported everywhere. Awful considering the vunerable position their clients are in.

Aware Recovery care is fully in-network with most Anthem plans, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, VA Community Care Network, as well as Tufts Health plans. When utilizing insurance, individuals engaged in Aware Recovery Care will be responsible for copays or deductibles depending on their insurance plan. Each insurance plan is different, however, admissions will be able to explain the coverage and costs associated with care. We are an out-of-network provider for many other insurance carriers. If you have questions about coverage, please call our client care specialists that can walk you through coverage and cost. We have a private pay option as well, billed at an affordable monthly rate. Our private pay option does not require a year-long commitment. Our admissions staff will work closely with you on a month-to-month basis if you choose to submit to your insurance for reimbursement and work with you to identify if this payment option is feasible for you.
Aware Recovery Care understands the urgency that exists when someone reaches out seeking treatment for substance use disorder, and we make it a priority to ensure the admissions process is completed quickly and effectively. Upon completion of a telephonic evaluation and receiving an overview of the Aware program, an admissions team member will work with you to schedule a time for in-person document signing and initial assessments. This process can also be done virtually to accommodate travel and your schedule. Upon completion of this signing, treatment will officially begin and the first home visit will be scheduled. Aware will work with you and your schedule to get you into treatment as soon as possible, oftentimes within 24-48 hours.
The first step of the admissions process is to complete a telephonic 30-minute evaluation with one of our clinical staff. This assessment helps determine if In-Home Addiction Treatment is the appropriate level of care for the person in need of treatment. During this time, we will also complete a verification of benefits with the client’s insurance company. Once we have clinical approval for admission and can verify the benefits, we will schedule an appointment for an in-person or virtual document signing. Our goal is to make this a quick and comfortable process for the client starting their journey in recovery.
