Four seasons trail system has become my happy place! I absolutely love the bird feeder loop during cross country ski season, it is the true definition of peace! I am an avid skier and mountain biker, so I feel tremendously grateful to have access to these trails year round. The trails are very well maintained, the lodge is always clean and beautiful!

We love making a special stop to visit the Four Seasons Trails! They have well maintained trails that are the perfect balance of easy and fun! They keep the trails groomed for both skate and classical, and have excellent snow coverage all season through March and often into April. Their cozy lodge was built entirely through community volunteer work and donations, and it has a comfy fireplace. They also have rental equipment available, and clean locker rooms for changing. We plan to return to Four Season Trails again next year during our spring skiing vacation!

Looking for snow this winter? You have to head north! I thought where I currently live was far enough to keep the snow on the ground, but even I had to go another hour north to get in a nice snowshoe the other day. I love the St. John Valley. It's unlike any place else in New England. The trails here are well kept and are expansive enough to where you don't see many people. I did two laps of their outer loop for just about 8 miles round trip and if the weather were a little better today, I'd honestly go back up and do it again.

Does anyone know where there is a natural spring near Madawaska? Rumor has it that there is one near the end of 11th Ave.

The snowmobile trail does pass through our non-motorized trail system but only in one designated area. The Madawaska Snowmobile Club has maps of their trails. Search for them on Facebook or on the web!
