Friends and Fiberworks Yarn Shop

This was my first visit to the shop since they moved and I had a great time! The space is well organized, and the staff are super helpful. The selections were absolutely mind boggling, and you could easily spend hours squeezing all the gorgeous yarns and drooling( just kidding) over your choices. The only drawback that day was the iffy internet connection that made checking out something of a hassle; they were working on addressing that problem. I will definitely be going back-a knitter can never have too much yarn !

I've been to 60+ knit shops around the country, and I'm so happy that one of the very best is right here in North Carolina, near Asheville. What a find! It's a wonderfully large store with many sample displays and an enormous variety of yarn. As a longtime knitter, I was especially pleased to see that Rowan yarns are represented. Not only is the store a treat to visit with friendly and helpful assistance, their online service is just as amazing. I ordered a much needed extra ball of yarn to finish a throw, and it arrived in just a couple of days. Great store, great people. Thanks, Friends and Fiberworks.

They are in a new location and it's a little out of the way, but completely worth the drive. This is the largest yarn shop I've ever seen. When I was there, they had an entire row of 70% off yarns! This is a must see shop for fiber lovers. I will be recommending this LYS to everyone!

I finally stopped at this shop after years of seeing their billboards and passing by because I was in a rush to get home or to my daughter's college. I wish I had stopped earlier. Very helpful, lots of yarn selections found a kit I just had to have. I liked the kit so much, I called the next week and had them mail me a different colorway for the same pattern. They were fantastic and can't wait to go back. Thank you for the wonderful service. I wish I were close enough to sit and knit.
