UPDATE: I shared my experience with a few of my neighbors and many of them were already well aware that Johns Nursery is disaster. Turns out three people just in my neighborhood had the same experience: rude, arrogant, price gouging, and terrible customer service. This place has clearly worked hard to earn their terrible reputation. 13 “one star” reviews in the last year. Mostly about poor customer service and ripping people off. And these are just the people that posted here. They say for every poor review posted there are 20 who had a similar experience. Not friendly over the phone or in person. Ridiculous charge to deliver and plant. Many of the same plants are at Home Depot or other nurseries for 20% -30% less. It’s not just the price, but the attitude on top of it. UPDATE: Owner reply to my post was “nobody works for free, Andrew”. I never asked or expected it to be for free. I expected a fair price, not price gouging, and somewhat friendly customer service. Clearly that’s too much to ask from John’s Nursery. Your condescending and assumptive reply along with the poor customer service is all we need to know. Happy to take my business elsewhere and I suggest all others do the same. I’ll be letting all my neighbors and friends know as well.

The people who work here are great-but the owner is not-will not make good on products he sells or promises made when purchasing. I recommend not shopping here. You are a liar-I asked for a tree to replace the one that died. I followed your instructions to the letter. Don’t worry-I will not be back!
