The food was pretty decent and hot/fresh. Went later in evening and tables were available. However we had to wait 30 minutes before they would take food orders because the kitchen was backed up. Our waitress was very nice and engaging. The rib tips and fried Turkey chops were really good. The rice pilaf is very bland.

Visited Detroit for the first time and this restaurant was recommended. Excellent customer service our waiter was an absolute gentleman. The ambience was very chilled and relaxed. The art work on the walls were absolutely beautiful. The wings are A+ our drinks were a bit too strong for our liking but you get your money's worth. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if ever you are in Detroit.

Late night dine in. Ordered the wings and greek salad and a drink. Wings lacked flavor and they drenched the wings too much with sauce. Greek salad was not the freshest and drinks were basic. Decor of space was nice, black art was a plus, like that it is a #blackowned business, and pretty cleanly.

This is a nice place to unwind after work or just to grab a great bite to eat....its close to the Detroit River and Riverwalk, which is an added bonus. I usually get the lamb chops, but I chose the Salmon, Veggies of the day and the Garlic …

I think you can make reservations or you don't have too. You can always check with the restaurant.
If you want alcohol, you WILL BE CARDED. However, young children can come in and eat.

It's typically pre-planned by a promoter. If you don't see a schedule on the website or on their facebook, just call and ask.
Typically casual, but I've seen people slightly dressed up. It attracts a variety of crowds, so as long as you feel great about what you're wearing, you're good to go.

They Say Restaurant has been at 267 Joseph Campau for nearly 14 years. We opened in February 2006. Prior to becoming They Say Restaurant the location was Dunleavy'z River Place. (Closed in 2002) The building is more than 100 years old, renovated back in 1988 for Dunleavy'z and again by They Say Restaurant ownership before opening in 2006. Come check us out.
When ever you get there after work is perfect and the menu will please you , your pocket and your tastebuds will love you...
