I had an appointment scheduled for 11am. I got in touch via phone at 10:54 asking if I should reschedule as I had been stopped for more than 30 minutes in huge traffic due to an accident with 2 trucks on I4 that completely blocked all roads. I was informed by the attendant that there would be no problem as they were available to attend to me and at no time informed that there were not enough employees, much less that the place would close for lunch time. If you had informed me correctly, I would not have spent another 40 minutes driving to the place and would have returned to my house and scheduled another day. Because, as indicated by the attendant over the phone, I went to the institute and when I arrived, after waiting 15 minutes to be answered, I was informed that they would close for lunch and that there was only one technician to attend to the appointments, so I would have to wait for at minimum TWO HOURS to start my service! Lack of communication and professionalism! I do not recommend the place precisely because of the lack of empathy and total lack of respect and communication with the patient! I will look for another place where they value good CUSTOMER service!

Dr. Ireland and Dr. Bravo were absolutely amazing. Walked me through every step of the procedure and made me feel comfortable. The whole staff were amazing and helpful. I wish I would’ve found The Lasik Vision Institute earlier.

Scheduling a preliminary appointment was quick and easy and the staff at the front desk were extremely kind and helpful when explaining the process and financing options with no pressure/sales tactics. They worked with me to schedule my appointment to take advantage of a promotion that was ending soon and the doctors who did the evaluations were kind and knowledgeable and explained the procedure and post-procedure steps clearly. There were some last minute issues with my pharmacy the day of, but the staff was very accommodating and thorough in their final evaluations. The procedure itself went very well; I was incredibly nervous but they provided me with a mild sedative and numbing eye drops, and other than staring at lights as directed and some slight smells nothing seemed/felt out of the ordinary. I went home and slept and the next day I was able to see better than 20/20. It's been five months after the fact and I'm really glad I got LASIK, especially with the staff at this office.

You have to check with your insurance company, LASIK usually isn't covered by insurance because it's considered cosmetic surgery and not medically necessary.

My insurance did not cover any portion of it. I paid the total amount.
You mean insurance? If so, check with your provider and see if thay have any doctors on their list for you to go. I didn't do that and had to cover the full cost. Still it's less money than glasses long term.
