I can't believe this is was sent out of the kitchen to be given to someone to eat. It's so burnt and unappealing. Waste of cash.

I'm not one for writing a review. But I feel this needs to be said. I usually just don't go back and let others decide for themselves. But I paid $30.23 that included a service fee of $3.75 for 4 piece chicken and Red Velvet(brown) waffles and added potatoes that didn't taste like much either. Chicken was discolored as well and unseasoned. Service was aweful. I could go on but just either keep your hard earned money or go elsewhere. Save yourself the disappointment. It was a nice place tho. It really could be a great neighborhood joint if somebody cared about the service and food.

I really wanted to support just on the love of it being a black business but I was so disappointed that I couldn't help but review. I ordered red velvet French toast and received (I don't know what this is) doused in dye, no cream cheese icing, onion or something must have touched it at some point because the edges of the piece I did eat tasted like it. My plain pancakes came with one circle pancake and one oddly shaped square pancake. Just a mess.
