Breakfast was nice, Staff was nice and most were accommodating. The pool looks like it is never cleaned. They do not offer daily cleaning services which is concerning. We asked for our room to be cleaned each of the 5 days we were there. They skipped our cleaning one of the 5 days. When we inquired about the services we were told housekeeping was done for the day. We asked who will vacuum as we had several children with us. We were told they didn't do cleaning and could have someone bring a vacuum for us to use. The environment within the rooms was muggy, damped and uncomfortable. It triggered my allergies and caused me to have to toss out a brand new pair of contacts. I am surprised at the lack of quality as this is a Hilton brand hotel.

Breakfast was good - liked the variety and the personal omelet. All front desk folks were good. Managers behind door that is behind front desk should support front desk evening person and not have front desk person go all the way to the kitchen for plates for one guest while other guests were standing there... and same waiting guests hear the managers speak in whispers how busy it gets implying waiting customers who ask for help should be patient - while the one front desk person is away. Room was good but needs decor and colors updated. Clean everywhere. No bathroom vent in room.

My first time here. A reasonable stay with good amenities incl swimming pool. The restaurant is nice with some good food choices like fish n chips, chicken pasta. The room was average. Gave 4 stars just because they couldn’t clean my room and left a fly in my bathroom trapped.

As a family of 6, my husband and I typically choose Embassy Suites because of the larger rooms, complimentary cocktails, and made to order breakfast. Whenever we want to get away for a staycation or to celebrate one of our kids birthday, we choose Embassy Suites. This trip we celebrated our 9 year old. More and more, we have become disappointed with each stay! We use to always go to the Troy location but after some issues and the lack of concern, we decided to try another location (Auburn Hills). We just checked out, and needless to say, we have given up on Embassy Suites. The room had TINY ANTS ALL OVER!!!!!!! We all felt gross. It didn’t help that the carpet is dark so it’s super hard to spot, but my 4 year old screamed saying it was “spiders” all over a towel that was on the floor. We looked and looked and were completely disgusted!!!! Upon further investigation, they were literally everywhere in the room. If I were to have seen that the night we checked in, I would have left immediately. I’m just so very disappointed. I have to say, every employee we ran into, especially at the bar were super nice! A smile and everyone spoke! Moving on over to Marriott now 😢 It was a nice run Embassy but no more.
