I visited Delaney's shop on a whim one rainy Sunday afternoon while out and about. I had no idea what I was in for. This shop is downright jaw-dropping. If you like antique tall case clocks, they must have the largest collection in the country, as well of plenty of beautiful smaller clocks. They're happy to let you just explore and enjoy the clocks on your own, and I spent a good while just taking it all in. As soon as I was ready to ask questions, they were eager to talk and educate me on the clocks. I couldn't stay away, and was back the next weekend. John the father happily answered all my questions and showed me a few different clocks I was interested in. Once I decided I wanted one, they sent me home with a couple of quite enjoyable books to read, and the clock followed about a week later, all of which was included in the price. John the son delivered it, set it up, went over the whole thing with me and made sure I was comfortable with it, and then spent another half hour or so just "talking clock" with me. The Delaneys do business the right way. With warmth, integrity, and enthusiasm for their clocks and their customers. Unfortunately for my wallet, I highly suspect this is not the last purchase I'll make there.

This is not a clock store. This is THE clock store. Amazing store. The owner, a really wonderful and patient man, does the clock appraisals on Antiques Roadshow with his brother. It’s worth a trip just to see their incredible inventory. I am not a clock person, but this place can make you one.

I have bought 3 tall clocks from this shop and the family owned business is one of the most knowledgeable in the world and highly reputable. You will see John on Antiques Road Show. Buying a clock there is an experience and not a transaction. I always learn something about clocks, travel & history. Its a step back in time, a museum, and great place to spend some time, and if your lucky, buy a clock with memories for a life time. One of my favorite places in the world. Do yourself a favor and visit this location.
