They are overpriced. Even having "sales" where the item costs MORE than the shelf price! Check prices carefully; sometimes computer price will be wrong at checkout. Never buy asparagus there. This is what you get--broken pieces hidden under the spears, so it looks normal on the surface, but you're paying for the weight of the broken pieces. Never seen this done anywhere before. Update 8/2022. Last week there was a sale on vine tomatoes. You cannot choose how many you want. They are all packaged, 4-5 large tomatoes in each package (thereby making up for the "sale" price), and wrapped in saran wrap. Naturally, they don't last long after sitting in a wrap for days. They consistently cheat customers on "sales".
