I just experienced one of my worst nightmares…a stranger at my door in the middle of the night. I was terrified for me and my family. The officers responded in record time. They caught the guy and I pray that he receives the help he needs. Thank you officers!

I drove 2 hours from Mass because they told me I had to report a car stolen in person. I got there and basically was treated horribly by the officer that I unfortunately got. She ended up taking the side of the person who took my car. I couldn't even believe it was happening. I got no help, and it was a complete and utter waste of my time and more money because apparently the officer felt it was okay for me to pay for someone else to drive my car. I didn't even get any advice or help. Just don't even call them if you need help... for real

The police officers in East Hartford are the ONLY ones I have issues with. I live in Manchester and the few times I go to East Hartford I am always bothered by them. They are bluntly rude. And they just want to make quota. They dont treat you like a human being. The police are suppose to protect and serve. And that is something this department is not doing.
