Well, we do nostril piercings at 18g and then insert 20g jewelry sometimes, but that's the only 20g sized jewelry we use. Everything else is 18g and larger. As for your own jewelry, it's immediate! After getting pierced, you'll leave the studio wearing your own earrings, since you'll have paid for them and they will be owned by you. Ear piercings have different healing times based on location. Cartilage takes about 6-9 months to heal, lobes are a bit faster at around 6-8 weeks of healing. You should wait until piercings are fully healed before changing jewelry.

Yes. A friend and I went in for piercing yesterday. They are doing appointments and only fine person with each artist or the peiercer...if you bring someone with you they have to wait outside. When you show up for your appt. there is the shop number on the door so you can call them so they can let you in.

Hi Cynthia! That's great! We always use a brand new sterilized needle for all tattoo and piericings. For piercings, we sterilize the jewelry in a unit called a statim right before the process. For tattoos, the needles come prepackaed and sterilized from the manufacturer. After use, both piercing and tattoo needles go directly into the sharps containers for disposal. Most equipment is single use but for the few things that are used again, we ultrasonic it, clean it and then package and autoclave it before the next use. Hi Michelle. Thanks for contacting us! Our insurance requires us to do paperwork for everyone we work on and for that, we have to have ID to prove that we checked your age. You can use any state or federally issued ID that has a photo on it. Unfortunately, we do need that as they require it of us.
