Today I went to this location to get my dog groomed. (They always do a wonderful job) But the reason for my review is to acknowledge one of their cashiers Devon & their veterinary staff. Today after my dog’s appointment, I was making my way to check out. Right before paying my dogs leash broke and he took off into the parking lot and into oncoming traffic. Without hesitation Devon left his register and took off in a full sprint to rescue my dog, along with myself and a few other customers-who’s names I never got but I am SO grateful for! Devon was determined to get him back for me and I knew he probably would have. Unfortunately my dog was hit by a car-a car that never stopped!(if you are the driver know I have made a police report) Luckily the car wasn’t going very fast. However the hit stunned my dog enough to startle him and he stopped running. My dog then proceeded to go over to an open door of a car at the atm by Taco Bell. There the driver of that car grabbed him and held onto him until we all got to them. After the shock of the chase and hit I went back inside to gather myself and pay. Devon was clearly tired, hot and out of breath. After all of that he was very kind and patient with me as I paid. I will be forever grateful for him! I did give him some money so he could buy himself a cold drink and/or something to eat. As soon as I paid for the grooming appointment, I proceeded to Banfield Vet in the back. The tech at the desk could see I was visibly upset. I told her what had just happened -without any hesitation she immediately took my dog from me and brought him to be examined. I wish I could remember her name, but I know her last name is Dembeck because she told me grew up in my home town . Luckily for my dog…aside from a skid mark on his freshly groomed face he is ok. He is only 14lbs so the outcome could have been FAR worse if that car was going any faster. After a few minutes the vet came out and spoke to me, she let me know what potential issues look out for and to call her in the morning if he was in any pain. I am so grateful for the staff here at this location and the few customers who leaped into action to help save my escape artist. The only reason why I am not leaving 5 starts for my review is -I wish they had regular closing doors instead of automatic with motion sensors. Especially for this busy area in Leominster.

Only place that carrys cat food with pets that have allergies!! Awesome! 3 staff literally walked down the aisles with me turning the bags, cans everything around to read the ingredients to help me out!! That's how ALL stores should run!! They were also HAPPY to help me!! Amazing staff!
