Yes, they offer full service. The line can get long though. Be sure to print out all the required documents so you don't waste time. You can also see the list of documents that you need to bring on the RMV website.

Currently, appointments are required. Your best bet for figuring out what you need to bring is to go onto the RMV website and look up your specific request which will tell you what you need to bring.
I have already paid a second road test fee for my daughter, who failed her first test. She passed the second, but was told her fee still needed to be paid. Who do I contact to get this situation rectified - she won't receive her liscence otherwise

Must be notarized by a notary of the public. City Hall or your town hall will do that where you get the birth certificate.

Now that you are a MA resident, you are required by law to transfer your NY registration to a MA registration, then you can get a MA annual inspection.

you need you proof of citizenship (passport, green card, birth certificate stamped by city hall), proof of social security (ss card, paystub), and proof of residence (mail addressed to you thats been through the post is what i used but insurance notes work too). the dmv website at mass.gov has more info!

If you had one and it was just lost you don't need anything you can get the temporary paper one that day, they mail the real one to you. If your address has changed then you need documentation like birth certificate and a utility bill with your new address
