We have had good luck with Conrad's in the past, but last night's dinner was HORRIBLE! I will say, when we called back, the manager agreed to refund it. (Why they got two stars instead of one) We called for takeout on a Monday night, ordered the lobster roll, the chicken sandwich special, a cob salad, and some desserts. We were told "20-25 minutes". One whole hour later, with my partner standing in the lobby waiting for 50 minutes, the bag came out of the kitchen, stapled shut. When he got home we discovered missing items...zero salad dressing; and no ice cream and no fresh whipping cream as was described for the desserts on the menu. Additionally, the only thing that was warm was the lobster.....French fries were cold, hard and stale...mine included one fry that was absolutely raw....obviously never saw heat in any way....scarey, how does that even happen? Was my order spilled, then picked up off the floor? How does one completely raw fry get in with cold stale cooked ones? Chicken sandwich was barely edible with cold congealed cheese. Hardened, deep fried, shoeleather chicken? Honestly I would not be surprised to find out it had been seriously overcooked on Saturday and pulled out of the fridge for Monday night! Stale, yellowed arrugula! If there were onions on it as advertised, I couldn't find them and this deep fried hockey puck was stone cold, considerably colder than room temperature....considering we waited a whole hour it is reasonable to expect everything to have emerged from the kitchen fresh and piping hot! Manager apologized and said "we got really busy, it happens". She did promise to refund the $80 bill. I looked at previous reviews....not their first rodeo with hockey puck chicken! I've had much, much better highway rest stop fast food chicken than this! We have had really good food from Conrad's in the past; I recommend doing some quality control before leaving the restaurant with your takeout order, obviously Conrads does not have operational QC when they "get busy".

Food, service, atmosphere... all top notch! My husband had the surf and tour with steak tips and crab cake and LOVED it! Crab cake was wonderful (I tried it). I had the salmon and it was the best I've had anywhere! So happy we found this place! We will definitely be back!

Service was good. Place is nice and clean, friendly people. Chicken picata was disappointing but the steak tips and burger were excellent!
