Very large compared to old church. Quite cold inside, stark with little character. A huge problem for the people that live adjacent to the expensive and overly large parking lot, is that Donnie Whalberg flys from Logan Airport located in Boston via private helicopter and lands in the church parking lot. The helicopter he flys the 30-35 miles in is loud and has damaged trees and homes that have been there long before the church built the new one. Plymouth allows this because Donnie pays the church and the town. The residents that pay taxes are not supported in their quest to stop the Whalberg family from landing in the church parking lot. They simply have to put up with the disruption and damage because of a less than caring actor. Worse yet, Whalberg still has to drive down Route 3A to the family “compound”. 🙄 Maybe they should have stayed in the family house in Boston?

Questions & Answers

Do you help low income families with Christmas help I really need help with Christmas for my children this year I'm a single mom with 2 kids and I just make enough to get by with.

Yes! If you go to the parish office, they will help in whatever ways they can. They do a star tree every year, where parishioners pick a star and buy what the kids of families in need have requested, wrap it, and then it is given to the family in time to be put under the tree. Also, they may help in other ways too, like gas cards and food, if you need it.

Do I have to be a member of Church to volunteer, attend Mass and generally have fun? 😊

I think maybe to volunteer but not to have fun. Or attend Mass. Anyone is welcome as it should be with every church. And the people are most kind and helpful. Its a wonderful parish.

There are many seniors active in church activities although boy specifically for seniors. There is coffee after the daily Mass as well as Sunday Mass, a Book Club and Shawl Ministry. Many seniors are active in the Food Bank, serve as lectors, Eucharistic ministers and serve at daily Mass The church website has a list of some of the activities. I believe there is also an occasional trip.
