Benchmark Senior Living on Clapboardtree

My mom decided to look into Assisted Living but unfortunately, before she was able to find her new home, she became ill and my husband and I had to make the difficult decision for her. We looked at a number of different places but the minute we entered Benchmark on Clapboardtree, we knew we had found the perfect place. Of course, we wanted the physical appearance of her home to be attractive but the warmth and compassion that emanated from the staff was even more appealing. My mom adapted well, made many friends, and thrived in her new environment. The activities Benchmark offered kept her mind and body stimulated. Mom lived at Benchmark on Clapboardtree for about 4 years, until the ripe age of 98. Her mental, emotional, and physical quality of life was extended due to the dedication, love, and care of the Benchmark staff, to whom I will forever be grateful!

My mother has been living in Benchmark for almost 2 years now. She is well taken care of there by a friendly and competent staff. When you enter the building you are greeted by a friendly face who is always willing to help and answer any questions. The best part is my mother is in a safe place.

The activities are amazing and there is always something fun and stimulating for residents to do. We have found all of the staff to be very caring and warm, and it is obvious to residents that everyone who works there really cares about them. The administration is responsive and excellent to work with. Dining services are also excellent.I can't say enough great things about Benchmark on Clapboardtree. They set very high standards and do a fantastic job reaching and exceeding them. I feel great knowing that my Dad is so happy and well-cared for. It is extremely comforting.

My mom has stayed at Benchmark for a little under one year. It was some thing we never planned on or expected. The experience is truly very scary. To leave your mom with people you do not know. It took some time to get used to but in the end I feel like they treat my mom like they would their own mom. They have taken the time to get to know her, that is so important. Victoria and her staff in Harbor care have a very tough job. I love them for what they do. I can only ask that they keep up the good work.
