Finally a groomer that knows how to cut my Pomeranian how I want instead of how they want. So happy with them. Now I will bring my girl monthly for her grooming. Thank you.

I brought my German shepherd in there as she was sick and doctor Augustus Checked her out and said he was not sure what was wrong he gave us antibiotics and sent us home and in two more weeks she got worse I brought her back in he checked her over again and said I am still not sure what is wrong then gave her a different antibiotic and sent us home then two more weeks went by I went back in and he said somethings very wrong you need to take her to Tufts hospital. We took her to Tufts Hospital and immediately they new it was cancer they said this is very common in German shepherds. They rushed her into surgery immediately and found that 90% of her stomach was full of cancer this is something that could’ve very easily have been detected as they detected it immediately as soon as I brought her in yet the three times I went to Banfield they could not. We had to put her down right on the operating table. She never made it out of surgery. I have a question how can someone go to the doctor and they say I don’t know what’s wrong and send you home? My suggestion to everyone is please stay away from these chain veterinarians. I have a family member that now goes to the Uxbridge veterinarian hospital and they are fantastic. Tufts veterinarian hospital is also fantastic they know what they’re doing and they have the technology to back it. I’ve seen hundreds of reviews on Banfield online and they are very poor reviews. I think Petsmart is a fantastic store they really care but I’m surprised they let Banfield share space in their store as this does not look good on them either.

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including: • Vaccinations • Dental Care • Parasite Control • Nutritional Counseling • Behavioral Counseling • Comprehensive Examinations
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
