I am so grateful to Dr. Patten and all the staff and techs who took excellent care of my cat Ivan (and me!). Ivan came in with a complicated diagnosis and was on a feeding tube. Thanks to Dr. Patten’s knowledge and skills and sense of humanity , as well as that of all staff, Ivan is on his way to recovery! VCA Robert’s animal hospital, formally Robert’s Animal Hospital, nearly let my dog die. I brought my dog in for a serious ailment that they refused to treat and sent us away after misdiagnosis. I called later that night and they refused to let me speak to a vet for advice. I went to an independent vet that had the problem solved in just a few minutes and administered meds that saved his life. My advice, Stay away from all VCA owned vets.

We lost my dear elderly uncle/my best friend late last year do to Covid but were blessed with Mya his old beagle/his very best friend. While out of town and with dog sitter Mya was bit by a much bigger dog. I mistakenly tried treating Mya myself but she got worse. We called every place around to get appointment but everyone was booked or not taking new patients. I called VCA Roberts and they said without hesitation to bring her right in. The treatment Mya and I both received was far above what I expected in every way. I was ashamed and heartbroken to have waited days to get her the help especially her being the last living thing family had concerning my uncle. Who knew the bite was so deep and the wound was as bad as it first looked. VCA Roberts treated the situation with loving care and concern and completely understood what we were going through as a family and more importantly what Mya was dealing with. The vet and the staff went way out of there way to help us in every way possible. The professionalism and prompt attention saved Mya's life and VCA Roberts gave us the best Christmas Gift ever. You truly couldn't ask for better people or better service when it comes to your pet family member. The treatment I witnessed them give to everyone made me feel like everyone who walked in the door was family. God Bless them all

New client means new owner to a practice. A new pet would be a new patient.
If they don't, contact vicky at the Marshfield anim shelter. She knows a about a lot of places that help out/have low cost services.
