No weekend appointments, no email to contact them. Called hospital but unhelpful. What are veterans supposed to do?

As a 1971- 75 Marine vet, with PTSD, memory issues and hearing loss from my MOS, Ive had the best care and experiences for the past 5 years. I consider them all like family.

Call center is unprofessional unclear and they told me that mental health closed at 5pm but their website says 8pm. Found the extension for metal health called and was prompted to leave a message. The VA always talks about how bad it is to be a no show for an appointment however they make it difficult to cancel ahead of time or reschedule. Those who have served deserve much better and we should be doing more for them.

Yes, he can get all primary and specialty care at Castle Point VA. He needs to call the Primary Care Office at Castle Point VA and schedule a "new patient appointment".
