Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

This place made me sad. I normally don't enjoy posting negative reviews, and this one didn't come easy. The fries were undercooked, the onion straws were cooked to the point that they were dry, and nearly tasteless. On my burger, the bun was of a lesser quality than a basic bulkie roll from Shaw's. Anyone worth their salt knows that a good sandwich starts with good bread, or else it ends in dissatisfaction. Service was awkward and uncomfortable. I have no idea why. The atmosphere was subdued and quiet being the end of the summer, which was fine. But all in all, the only joy to be had for me was in my slightly watered down Coca Cola. Next time I need a decent burger type meal, I'll be at 5 Guys, or maybe Wendy's or Tasty Burger. I had high hopes for Red Robin, and those hopes were dashed on disappointment.

They have some service issues - not enough staff - but be patient. The food is worth it.

Waited 10 min for someone to come to the hostess statio, just to tell us they'll be right back. 10 more minutes later they came back to tell us there's a 20 minute wait... waste of our time!
