Feel immense peace in this temple. It’s so quiet inside — you can’t hear the busy city sounds outside. The volunteers working here are incredibly nice. Do what you need to do to come in here. Or swing by it and view it from the outside. It’s a cool building!

Full of the spirit, and a beautiful, calm building in the middle of New Yorks business.

Is one of the best experiences you will see.
New York is always a little bit expensive, why don't you try New Jersey? Is just 30 minutes away in bus
Contact the Temple or President/Matron Bench. They might have some options
The ICON garage attached to the building 60 W 66th Street on the north east side has a discounted rate for the Temple, only on Saturdays. $10 for 3 hours, $20 for 6 hours. Otherwise there is a lot clear over on 10th I think that is best for overnight. For other days, check Groupon for NYC ICON parking...really.
Inside, on the second floor.
Depends on the day of the week- weekdays, no appointment needed
No, but there are some Private Parking nearby and they make discount for temple goers
The building has both a temple, meetinghouse, and other offices. Church services including sacrament meeting are held in the meetinghouse portion of the building on Sundays.
no bro
Yes. In the Manhattan temple they have a ward that meets on the on the third floor and they have awesome art and a place for visitors to ask questions. The actual temple allows only members with recommends to enter
Pay with credit card only. They do not accept cash
I'm not sure, call the temple and find out that's the only way you're going to know, God bless you and happy holidays.
I only speak English
Yeah that is totally ok. All visitors are welcome. Meetings at 9:00 am, 10:30 am, and noon. Head up to the third floor.
Hi Jeffersone. The temple has no visitor parking. I recommend going by metro. If you are above Manhattan take the train 1 towards downtown and get off at 66 street. It is the station in front of the temple. You will cross two streets and you will reach the temple.
Where
Yes currently the temple is closed until Monday October 28th. They are doing some maintenance. But at the same building you can find a sacrament meeting on Sunday at 10:30 and another one at 12. Also on 87th Street they have a sacrament meeting at 9:30
The temple can look up your recommend
Early, morning, AM. Every one can be Spanish. Hispanos Si.
No, closed for the holiday... Memorial Day
It's large enough to hold stake meetings. Lincohn Square YSA ward meetings start 9am/Morningside heights ward 10:30am/Manhattan 1st ward 12 noon
The subway is the # 1 line, exit at 66th, the Temple is right across the street. Super easy. La Traviata is close by with a couple good pizza slices and a soda for $5,; otherwise you have the whole city. Enjoy.
No
Well, I think the meetings are at 10 on Sunday

Only in the temple can ordinances be made for our SALVATION and only there we can seal ourselves with our FAMILY and ancestors
The figure atop most temples of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints represents Moroni, the last ancient writer in the Book of Mormon and the last ancient custodian of all the records comprising the Book of Mormon who returned in the 19th century and showed Joseph Smith where they were deposited in a hill in upstate New York.
