Beautiful Senior housing apartments, clean, and very quiet place.

My mom lived at Cedars 2 for nearly 13 years, because her rent was subsidized by HUD. She would have liked to have been somewhere else, but the rents were too high. The rent is cheaper at Cedars, yes, but as the saying goes, “You get what you pay for!” There were constant problems with the phone system and when her family would try to reach her for something important, it was extremely frustrating, calling 20 times, to get through. That would happen on her end too and it happened at least once a week. There was a constant knocking sound in the freezer, so she had to send maintenance several reports in order to get it fixed over a span of two months. Her kitchen faucet leaked at the base for at least 6 months before (more reports) something was done about it. The parking lot in the winter is/was terrible. Ice around cars was an issue. Considering maintenance doesn’t do anything, would it be too much to ask for some hand salting between the cars to keep the tenants safe? The answer would be yes. She wouldn’t complain, because she was raised at a time when you could expect people to care as she did. Someone else’s review was correct about people being rude and unwelcoming. My mom called them lobby rats, because they would sit out there and comment negatively about every person walking by. As far as management? Don’t expect to be able to reach anyone. Keleigh NEVER calls back! There was one time I spoke to her and that was to get the phone number for the corporate office and she kept explaining her actions or maintenance’s actions, refusing to give me the number. I wouldn’t live there for free! They only see tenants as a revenue stream. As long as you don’t have a complaint about anything, they’ll treat you well. There’s more, but you get the gist. Rest In Peace Mom. ❤️

You must be 55 or older
I am an Aide that cares for a resident there. ThIS IS NOT an Assisted living complex. There is no Medical Care there. You would have to go through Fort Hudson or a similar company for Home Care.
518-832-1701 Keleigh Tyler is the building manager. She can answer all your rent related questions.
Check out details at website. I just moved in and have not checked out everything yet.
