Poor communication. Never answer the phone. No return calls. No empathy for patients. Verbal abuse is common and not just from staff, but management as well. You can't go to the Administrator, Debra if you have an issue because she is bad, if not worse. You can't ask questions because you will be accused of arguing, and they hang up on you. Find yourself an office that actually cares about their patients. One who treats their patients with compassion and dignity. There’s a reason this place has bad ratings. Unfortunately, there’s not many Endocrinologists in the area and most are in this practice. Which is why they can get away with their bad conduct. Maybe a complaint with BBB will be taken seriously.

Dr Janicka is a wonderful endocrinologist. I have had the pleasure of being her patient. The wait time for appointments can be long. There is a reason! She will not rush through my appointment. She takes time to educate and confirms I understand. I work in the Healthcare field. Many of my patients have suffered for years misdiagnosed and ignored by their endocrinologists. If they had found a doctor like Dr Janicka their suffering would have been reduced dramatically. I am able to contact her through the patient to portal without difficulty. I reported issues on the patient portal, she responded and the office staff followed up promptly, scheduling ordered bloodwork and an appointment. I feel so fortunate to have found Dr Janicka.

The appointments consistently run late, sometimes as much as 40 minutes and the scheduling department DOES NOT return calls so appointments are never rescheduled unless you're able to speak to someone when you call the office.

I used to love coming here years ago when I lived in the area I moved away and I recently called to establish an appointment to get seen again since I moved back I wound up catching coronavirus very bad and was hospitalized I called two days prior to my appointment to cancel I spoke to the office staff she told me to call back when I was feeling better to reschedule my appointment I called back today and they told me I am discharge from the practice because I missed my appointment I think that’s very unfair because I called and it is the office staff error if they did not enter it incorrectly they are on organized and they are very rude the lady I spoke to said well there’s nothing I can do about it what do you want me to do I have never in my life been treated that way by someone in the medical field if you don’t like people and you don’t like customer service don’t work this kind of job . It makes me really upset because I did my part by canceling my appointment I don’t know what they expected me to do fly my magic carpet from the hospital over to their center for my appointment when I was struggling to breathe having Covid this is the worst treatment I have ever received by someone period and I’m disgusted ! The doctors Are so nice Esther is amazing but the office staff has always been on organized and rude and this is just the icing on the cake

Get away from there they overdosed me on Treseba insulin it stays in your system 40 hrs. So I almost died 4x finally got back on levemir normal ratings now. Never hospitalized or had emts here again. They are horrible RUN
