My package came visually cut open and in a plastic bag, empty. Not a single item remained. It’s obvious someone stole the contents. The contents were insured, so it’s really not a surprise that someone would cut it open who works there and steal the contents. My boyfriend failed to insure the jewelry for what it’s worth, so I’m out a lot of money. I’m just a young woman, in her early 20s, so I will never be able to replace what was stolen from me. Priceless gifts, I will never get back. The delivery man did not get my signature, even though it was required and updates on my package stopped. After visiting my boyfriend, I left behind my favorite jewelry. Seeing that he is in the navy, I see him only a handful of times a year, so he thought he could mail me my jewelry. I really hope they find the person who did this so I can press charges and I most certainly will unless they come forward and admit it and return what was stolen from me. I feel violated. I had nightmares about being robbed, seeing as my apartment was broken into 4 years ago while I was asleep, so this is really bothering me. You can’t even trust the USPS. The employees should be screened and looked into.

Get this one, Was told by email. that the driver could not enter a building that is open 24/7. I wonder how much crak he or she smoked before trying!!!!!!!

This distribution center is completely incompetent! As per the tracking, my package arrived here at this Albany distribution center. Then, instead of shipping it 2 1/2 hours north to the shipping address, they ship it east to Springfield MA, who then shipped it back to this Albany location since package had gone in the wrong direction. What does this Albany USPS location do? They ship it BACK to Springfield AGAIN! Springfield shipped it back to Albany for the second time. Now I'm waiting to see if these clowns in Albany have shipped it in the right direction finally, or if they'll ping-pong it back and forth with Springfield MA indefinitely. Come on!.. get some competent people in there. I'm writing this review because this is the SECOND time I've had this happen with a package going through this facility where they shipped it east to Massachusetts instead of directly north. But it's ridiculous this time.

I give this place one star just so that my review might find some people in need of help. I don’t know why this isn’t easier to find but, if you’re here looking for a package that you’re waiting for and it says something along the lines of “ALBANY MY DISTRIBUTION CENTER” it’s most likely at 30 Karner Rd, not this address. I just went to the USPS Distribution Center on Karner Rd after trying to deal with the distribution center on N Ferry St for a few days now, and they asked me for a tracking number and a signature and I got my package right away. Do not go to the N Ferry address it is just a warehouse and your package is most likely waiting for you at 30 Karner Rd.
