There is a reason it was voted number one..you need to go soon..I have been avoiding for way too long from a bad experience..just avoid the rifraf..the pier is awesome..go very early even in peak!
It is a small area however there are several quote Pavilions unquote and there are two umbrellas on the beach side that are actually Palm thatch quite nice first come first serve
We parked in a lot right next to the pier paid 10$ for the entire day and night enjoyed the beach had dinner on the pier went shopping and didn't have to worry about feeding the meter at all we even got a 10$ off coupon for parking in that lot and used it for the restaurant. And may I add they had great drinks for happy hour and food was great also .. spending the 10$ I thought at first was high but after the great day and night not having to worry about feeding the meter was well worth it.. please give a thumbs up if this helped anyone.
