I ordered through Uber eats and the restaurant forgot my 2 drinks. The samosas had very little stuffing in them and what little stuffing it had was flavorless. The Chana masala was a weird creamy sauce.

Food was excellent though service was negligible (we were there at 4pm, an odd in-between time for restaurants) but the quality of the food was outstanding. We'll definitely go back when they are more on their game.

Maybe it’s time to retire or sell. Everything was horrible from decor to service to quality to taste. Although I won’t be going back anymore perhaps for the next person you can make a fresh mango lassi and not use a premix from a spout and put it in a real glass instead of a plastic takeout cup.

It's with a heavy heart that I must say that our family will no longer be eating at or ordering from Shalimar in Latham. We've consistently ordered from this restaurant for about 5 years. In the past two years, the experience keeps getting worse. They've forgotten items from my order, given my order away to someone else, and most the quality of the food has diminished greatly. Last night, our chicken tikka was inedible. It seemed like it may have been warmed up in a microwave before thrown in the sauce (which is still amazing). We had to use a sharp knife to cut it. Between the poor service and rapidly deteriorating quality of the food, we need to say goodbye.
