Prices are always high and they should be charged with elder abuse by the way they treat older customers. Charging 100$ to lay a new cable that they cut doing another install. Horrible

Xfinity....comcast....told to bring modem from different state and just plug in. Noooooo you have to get a new one....not only that you couldn't leave your old modem with them this is Fla. YOU had to bring it to the UPS store where you get your return receipt. Now whatever you do, don't lose that receipt. They scan serial # and if they claim they did not receive it..big bucks if you can't produce a receipt. Why I would have to return it to a UPS store is beyond me.

Just your equipment. A friend or family member can even drop it off for you. Appointments are recommended.

Check your packaging maybe they have changed and you can get more for less. This sometimes happens when there is a network upgrade.
If you're talking about Xfinity's different services, YES you can. I recommend that you not go to any Xfinity store unless you have to. Sometimes you can conduct your business in a couple of minutes, and sometimes you wait for a period of time that seems like forever.
You can also order services online at Xfinity.com.
I need to switch my modem to a different room & install a TV where it use to be. How do I schedule an appointment to have this done?

Yeah that's the power button..just had that happenand got it replaced with a new one which works..they're all refurbished it looks like.. just go swap it out.

It depends. Are you ending your service or just putting it on hold til you get back? If shutting off, all boxes, remotes, anything rented. If not, I don't think anything needs to be returned. Call them to be sure.
