I love the Smyrna Diner. I’m always looking to try out any local diners in the area, and admittedly hadn’t been impressed with ones near Dover. But this place is definitely up there and despite COVID limiting their staff over the past two years, we have never had any issues with their service or food. Place is massive, has a great breakfast buffet and their menu has some dishes that have become my favorite to have. Wait staff is always friendly and even the kids that do the initial waiting and bill paying are respectful (even if there is the occasional sour apple that doesn’t seem like they having a great day; it’s gonna happen). If you want a great place to have a get together for food and want to support a local business, here ya go.

Huge portions for a great price and very friendly service. Their biscuits are soft and far from dry. With a perfectly sized menu you can't go wrong stopping in here any time of day.

We used to love this place but the food quality has declined tremendously. Unfortunately we won't be returning. Our young waitress was great though even though she was running around like crazy trying to keep up with the tables

We didnt have a good experience but the general consensus seems to be largely positive so I wouldn't take my opinion of the place to heart. Just dont get the steak and eggs, I can positively say it was terrible. The fact that they served that poor excuse of a steak to me makes me not want to go back. It was paper thin, wasnt seasoned, was not 8 oz, and was extremely overpriced. If you going to have steak and eggs on the menu for $18, serve a goddamn real steak!
They're not amazing but not bad either. To each their own though...

Lunch is all day long if you want lunch at 7:00 a.m. then you can get lunch at 7:00 a.m. if you want breakfast at 8:00 p.m. then you can get breakfast at 8:00 p.m. here at the Smyrna Diner we can give you whatever you want and whenever you want as long as it's on our menu
