I called last week to talk to someone about the new tree mitigation calculations form. Never heard back. Called again this week and still received no response. So I decided to show up at the office. No one there could tell me how to fill it out. How do you come up with new forms and none of your employees are able to fill them out. What a joke. You need to make a tutorial on your website so you stop wasting everyone's time.

City of North Port wastes So much money its not funny! The whole Biscayne blvd Debacle, millions wasted for what a bike lane! And the $800k road repair and all they did is put up curbing! We pay city works now to weed the beds @$20+,an hr! No turn lanes, that would have Been a good idea! Instead of having going in to the bike lane, when someone goes to turn! Until some one gets hurt! Then it's a problem! seen it a million time! These people have no clue! NOW THEY LET THEIR SYSTEM GET HACKED! I wonder if the 30 yr.lifer mayor has ever been investigated! We have a great Governor! Thank God for that! But certainly other government official s need to be fired!

We added a cement slab with roof to the side of our house to have a place for our grilles/smoker. The City failed our inspection because there was no sod down around the slab! The inspector said she will not pass the inspection until there is grass or gravel around the slab. What a waste of my taxpayer dollars. Every time an extra inspection is added, it is money in the City's pocket and out of mine.

Yes. You will need to provide details on what material you'll be using to replace the damaged fence (vinyl, chain link, aluminum, etc.) You will also need a boundary survey showing where the fence sits on your lot (to make sure it complies with Zoning regulations and setbacks), and finally you will need a permit application. All forms needed can be found at www.cityofnorthport.com.
