I ordered flowers for my sisters funeral. This was the first time I ordered flowers for a funeral and discusssd in detail with the sales lady what I wanted. I thought long and hard and decided I wanted a display with 5 roses, one to represent each family member, and I wanted the roses to be the main focus of the display. The sales person was very helpful and we agreed on a one sided basket with small white and lavender flowers and the 5 roses displayed. Across the top and front of the basket. When I arrived at the funeral home I found a glass vase of white flowers with the roses buried in them. I had to actually look around the back of the display to see if all 5 roses were there. I was very disappointed and embarrassed. As a sister I felt a more appropriate display should have been sent. I felt I could have gone to Giant and bought a $20 display that would have been just as nice. I sent a notice to the flower shop after the funeral but did not even get a reply. I order from Royers in Reading and have always been pleased. I would not order from this Royers shop ever again.

On Friday, February the 7th, I purchased a succulent plant at the York East store. I really liked the plant. Unfortunately, it only lasted until Friday, February 14 (one week!). The plant leaves started to fall off, even though I followed the care instructions I had been given. That same Friday, the 14th, I went back to the store. The lady was able to give me another plant. However, the cost of the plant that I was give in exchange for the one I originally bought, was lower. The original plant I bought was 23.99 +tax. The "replacement " plant was $14.99+tax. No one offered a partial refund, or a coupon for the difference. Instead, they quickly removed the price tag, as trying to hide the price... I wish they would have addressed the obvious. I know I was given a cheaper plant than the one I originally bought...
