Hey Betty! According to the University of Florida, their ability to naturally detoxify they are especially difficult to treat. The best way to treat them is literally physically remove them, but we are sure that's not going to be your preferred way of treatment! We recommend any over the counter contact insecticide (where you would treat the grasshoppers directly, but you can also use on foliage) with grasshoppers on the label.
