Our experience was deplorable. Upon arrival we were informed that the bathroom was inoperable which resulted in us to urinate in a bottle and pour it overboard for the entitle eight our trip. Other than the several smaller Vermillion Snapper we were only able to catch 8 other Mangrove Snapper. and one small Mahi-mahi (otherwise common dolphinfish). The price of the trip was very overpriced based on our experiences. We also found the crew to be very condescending and at times even rude. They even made several derogatory remarks regarding our fishing skills. One of our fishing partners was unable to reel with his right hand to to a physical impairment and therefore was required to improvise his fishing method. The crew was heard actually laughing about this. We spent almost half of our fishing time driving around locating fish. As a result our catch was very limited. To make matters worse the air conditioning failed. At one time the temperature in the cabin reached 94 degrees making it impossible to sit inside. We were forced to stand outside for our entire trip back to port. I made several attempts to contact the Captain to express our concerns and request a partial refund due to the deplorable conditions. The Captain only response was that he would get his crew’s side of the story. As a result we would never charter this boat or it’s crew again and would never recommend it to anyone.

We had a blast on our trip. Captain Robert and Chase put us on some money holes and caught some massive fish. This was definitely an experience. I would highly recommend booking with Jodie Lynn Charters and ask for Robert and Chase. We can’t wait to book our next trip.
