They don't help you find a new apartment by escorting clients to see apartments especially when there building has been sold...NYC escorts there clients to see potential rentals not jersey city...

Ana Vilela Ohiwerei is the Program Director of this terribly managed "Cornerstone" program. Four months of rent (Oct, Nov, Dec, 2019 & Jan 2020) were not paid until the end of January 2020, and with no late fees. This creates a stressful situation for both the landlord and tenant! As of June 22nd, June rent was also not received. Shameful! I wrote to the HRC on June 8th and Ana Vilela Ohiwerei replied, "Our check...was lost..." When was she going to notify me? Where is the check now? I guess she's too busy to do her job. Shame on this program and their ineffective program director. I have contacted Carmen Gandulla, Director of Community Development for assistance and will update this post soon. Do NOT participate in this program!!

Hello Eunice Fernandez, Thank you for your questions. In order to be eligible for the TBRA program, the household income for a two person household may not exceed 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). There are other criteria factors, which we would be happy to discuss. To learn more about the program, please contact us at 201-795-5615.
If you are receiving any type of government assistance (Welfare, SSI, etc) try and call the Welfare Department, you would need to go to the 5th floor, I believe and bring your lease.
