The parks volunteer hosts are quite rude and over step their authority. The TWRA seems as though they don't want anyone staying here..the ranger was down to the site on 2 seperate occasions..on 7/16/22 and spent roughly 20/30 minutes with each site.. I can see why it was only half full Friday and less than that on Saturday of this past weekend..#funpolice

Had the whole campground to ourselves. As of now the reservations have to be made in advance online and there’s not great phone service at the campground. There is service on the bridge or up the hill though. Nice area next to the river …

Had the whole campground to ourselves. As of now the reservations have to be made in advance online and there’s not great phone service at the campground. There is service on the bridge or up the hill though. Nice area next to the river with picnic tables and fire pits. Very clean bathrooms (pit toilets). Probably the cleanest campsite I’ve ever visited.

Love it here!! The nemo trail is awesome being near by too! The campground was clean and well taken care of. And very peaceful. We will be back
