This review is only for today's visit. I think there is miscommunication between staff members. Also not sure why, at my last visit, I did in fact receive nerve blocks, and Dr Malik specifically said that she would also give me injections in my neck as well. My chart(file) only says that my appointment today was a follow up. When the nurse practitioner came in, she suggested some sample medication and was unaware that I was supposed to get nerve blocks today, and said I had my last nerve block in April. It does not show that I indeed had nerve blocks in September and that is when Dr Malik asked if I would also like them for my neck. I don't understand why that wasn't in my chart, and why they weren't expecting me to have them today. They did look around the office and said they would need to order it. Also, this is the first time that Dr Malik didn't speak to me. Usually, she's very attentive, but today, she walked into the room and look through cabinets for the medicine and walked out. I understand there are 3 offices, and new Port Richey may not always have everything, and I am willing to go to another location if it means I can get nerve block. These nerve blocks absolutely make it possible for me to function. I am amazed that I go months without migraines after those blocks. I'm extremely pleased with the outcome, but something got miscommunicated and I felt like it was a waste of my time as well as the staff's time. I would definitely have gone to a location that had it in stock today, had the staff been aware of why I was there. I pray the order comes in soon and they call me in right away, or if it's at a different location, please call and I will go wherever I need to go. I'm sorry this is a long review, and I wouldn't have left one at all if anyone answered the phone, I called from 4:45-5:30.. 9 times with no way to leave a message. The website says the Hillsborough location closes at midnight tonight, but the message said it was closed the last time I called at 5:30.. very confusing

Dr. Malik actually listens to you as a patient and doesn't treat you like you're just a paycheck. When I first moved to Florida I had a horrible experience of being ignored by my Neuro and wound up in an urgent care situation. Dr. Malik and her team have provided me with the best care and what's even better, I feel like I get a say in my care plan instead of just forced onto something I don't want to be on.

5 stars plus! When I first came to Dr. Malik‘s office, I had experienced a journey of no help with an extremely painful situation. I was beginning to think nobody would help me. Dr. Malik‘s nurse practitioner, Denise and Dr. Malik have really given me hope & have been helping me figure out what is going on with me. I’m starting to feel confident that there is a light at the end of the tunnel for a medical situation that has truly been a struggle. If you’re looking for attentive care, I would recommend Seeing them!

Dr. Malik is a great doctor. She is very knowledgeable and has great bedside manners. She really cares about her patients and takes the time to listen and answer any questions. I highly recommend Dr. Malik.
