Wait is way too long...said an hour, 2 plus hours later to have my child seen. Next time I'll go to my local pediatrician who would make a child sick wait that long to be seen. I'd be seen quicker at the actual Emergency room for goodness sake!!

I would have given a zero if I could, this place just horrible MAXINE head nurse is very rude and disgusting never felt such level of discrimination before against my 5 and 8 year old kids with fever over 102. Waited for almost 2hrs during which others were called in who was checked in after us.

Very friendly and professional. A bit of a wait, but not excessive or surprising. Pleased with the care and experience.

They open at 8a and usually they register the people that are in line. Once they register you, they ask you to return to your car and they'll call you to do triage. After they get through the line (depending on how long it was) they may close registration for a few hours while they work on those who were registered. If you miss the initial registration (which once registered can be a wait if a few hours) they'll tell you to call back in a few hours to see if they've opened registration back up. This process can be frustrating but keep in mind they are short staffed and ARE trying to help. So be patient.
All MedExpress centers are equipped with high resolution X-ray capabilities. However, MedExpress cannot complete requests from a non-MedExpress provider. If a MedExpress provider needs an X-ray to help confirm diagnosis we able to perform this service on-site.
MedExpress is offering COVID-19 evaluations and testing at designated centers to help support our local communities' health care needs amid the pandemic. In order to ensure individuals receive the highest-quality care and treatment, all individuals seeking care at MedExpress for known or suspected COVID-19 cases will receive an examination by a MedExpress health care professional who will determine if testing is needed and which testing method may be most appropriate, including rapid antigen and laboratory send-out PCR COVID-19 testing. Please note that for the most accurate COVID-19 test results, the CDC and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) recommend that individuals who are not showing symptoms, but who have had close contact with an individual who has tested positively for COVID-19, wait five to seven days after the known exposure to get a COVID-19 test. Additionally, the CDC and AAFP recommend self-quarantining for 14 days after a known exposure to COVID-19, even if no symptoms are present.
There is no appointment needed; however; for the health and safety of our patients and team we ask that all patients call when they arrive to our centers. Our team will register you from your vehicle. Hope this helps!
Thank you for your question! MedExpress is currently offering rapid and laboratory send-out COVID-19 tests for a known or suspected exposure to COVID-19. The type of test administered is determined by our providers after a medical evaluation and is based upon CDC recommendations and considerations, the type and duration of symptoms, and other criteria which can be found at https://www.medexpress.com/covid19.html
Thanks for your question. Timing may vary depending on the volume of tests being performed by our commercial lab partner, but, at this time, it currently takes around 3-7 days for patients to receive send-out laboratory results. Hope this helps!
You sure can! For more information, please visit https://www.medexpress.com/covid19.html.
Good question. Timing may vary depending on the volume of tests being performed by our commercial lab partner, but, at this time, it currently takes around 3-7 days for patients to get results. If you were tested at a designated MedExpress testing center and are awaiting your results, a member of our team will call you once we receive the results.
